My story begins in the beautiful town of Gig Harbor, Washington, where I grew up surrounded by nature’s beauty and a tight-knit community. I always felt a sense of belonging in the place I called home, but little did I know that the path ahead would lead me to places far beyond what I had ever imagined.
It was in high school at Galaxy Theaters where I met my husband, Abram. We were both working there, and though we were just two teenagers at the time, something clicked between us. After graduation, Abram enlisted in the U.S. Coast Guard, which marked the beginning of a new chapter in our lives. We didn’t waste any time, shortly after his enlistment, we got married, ready to take on whatever the future held for us.
Our journey as a young couple took us first to St. Petersburg, Florida, where we were able to embrace the sun and warmth of the East Coast. From there, we moved to Kodiak, Alaska, where the landscape was starkly different, but the experiences and memories were just as unforgettable. The Coast Guard took us to places we never could have imagined, and with each new adventure, our bond grew stronger.
Eventually, we returned to our roots, settling back in Washington, where we found a peaceful home in the charming town of Manchester. Here, we’ve built our life together and are raising our beautiful children, Winona and Kieran. They fill our home with joy and wonder every day. We also share our lives with two playful cats and our loyal yellow lab, Apollo, who is always by our side.
